This is the hi res! Thank you all for your continued support. <3
A grayscale for Aurati~Draetlan / AuraBDraggie on Twitter! The quest had been hanging on the notice board for a month, with only the cryptic note: "When you come upon the Lord's judgement, do not break eye contact." ... Oh, and the few thousand gold piece reward for slaying him still hadn't been claimed. Weird that no one came back yet, though.
dragonsssss. I got to take Aurati's character, Zorquan, and paint him up as a full dragon. Tried to carry forward some of what I had learned in EC's gift, as well as gave Aurati some extra time due to having accidentally let him slip through the cracks in my previous opening. Wanted to make up for that...!
Enjoy, guys.

Something a bit less pin-up-ish! Sandwiched between another two pinups on the way, but what can you do, you know? Besides, I picked 'em~
Having gotten to do a bit of a study that was posted on other sites (perhaps a bit too large/fetish-focused for here? Depends on how you guys feel. Nothing graphic, just... Extremely muscular character.), this one was a nice cleanser, in a way. Got to try to apply some of what I learned, which went... Both good and bad. I think that it went well in that things feel nice, especially that face and the weird satisfaction I have with the ranger and how quickly that slotted into place. But since the character themselves didn't have scales or any large amount of tiny detail, I kind of felt some of my energy wandering a bit mindlessly. That's not a slight on Aurati's character!! Just leftover energy from emotioncreator's piece that I didn't exactly know where to aim here.
But I feel like I definitely know which brushes suit me in Painter now. The Artist Oils category seems to be exactly what I want. I just need to figure out the minor differences in their settings, or more specifically, which setting does -what-. I find I'm sticking to one or two I like, and ignoring the differently shaped or tipped brushes, like one labeled "Filbert" that I understand in a real world sense, but can't quite make click in a digital space. Might need to do more comfort studies and just mess around.
Anyways, dragons! A bit of fantasy! I'm pleased. I would love to explore more of these D&D type things. I -have- been wanting to do something with an owlbear, as well... Too many ideas, too little time, too little hand strength! I'll stop rambling for now -- enjoy, guys. Much love, as always. Stay safe, stay healthy out there!
