Youtube-Related Advice
Added 2023-07-20 02:16:15 +0000 UTCI've been thinking of writing a script about advice that I could possibly offer about making Youtube videos. And I don't mean that as in like some cringy "9 FASTEST WAYS TO GROW OMGGG!!!!!!!!!!!! (GONE SEXUAL)" type of thing.
I more-so just wanna share some guidance about motivation, finding your style, avoiding ever burning out, etc. And as I keep trying to write this script, I'm kinda jumbling around a bunch of different topics and not really sure of any of it could be helpful with the way it is right now.
So I was thinking to just ask you guys what you'd like to hear. Like if there's anything you're wondering, struggling with, or happen to have an interest in how to go about doing it.

2023-07-21 10:44:43 +0000 UTCTldr: From my experience when getting started you should set yourself strict life or death deadlines (give yourself like 1-2 weeks) to finish your first project, then start your second (you can take a break too as long as you promise to start your second. If you're a profectionist you ARE going to feel like shit while making your 1st project and that is a good thing, what is important is starting your second project. I'm currently pursuing a 3d animation career, and I put all my animations on my yt channel. I'm also in other animations discords and one question that's asked alot is "how do I start? Or how do I animate?". The best answer I found for this is literally post anything, find one tutorial online like a donut or dillon goo a doo it. The problem lies with people with perfectionist personalities like me on which wouldn't even try because we think it isn't good enough (imo). I sure know this feeling bc I was stuck in the yt rabbit hole for a year watching every yt tutorial on the planet on "how to animate on blender" it just got to the point where I just had to do it. If you have spending money buying paid tutorial packages like dillon goo animation tutorial or something like udemy courses really do help (I swear this is not a plug). If you have problems Procrastination that is quite another beast in which I too am still dealing with bc ima gamer by heart. Just know you're not lazy and that there's a reason for everything. You just need to work it out in ur head just question yourself why you seem to drop things that tend to be more important at the time. I feel that it is hard to stay consistent with what I want to talk about and find myself deleting a bunch of recorded audio later on because it's not really worth to keep it in the video. Appreciate any tips on how you approach script writing.
