Here is my review of Jonah from the Vlog Squads restaurant, Jonah’s Kabob.

I am looking at using a different title so any suggestions are welcome!

I agree that merch is the way to go for these guys to maximize profit. Only the most die-hard fans are going to make a special trip to visit the restaurant, which means they really need to stand out if they're going to make it with the general LA crowd. But fans would absolutely buy sauce and have it shipped. Just look at Hot Ones. They constantly sell out of their sauces after shipping it all over the world.

Yeah launching a new restaurant in a pandemic sounds scary as hell, but he thankfully has some clout to help with initial exposure. (And oof, that constant zooming in-and-out for emphasis gets a bit distracting :S )

You mentioned a couple of times that you felt weird (like overstepping boundaries) filming, narrating, etc. because it would be intrusive and possibly interfere with workflow, etc. - I think content creators who have a separate camera person have a huge advantage in being able to interact naturally with the people without having to sweat all the production details. If you have anyone who can do that with you, it might make a huge difference…

Also for video title how about "Jonah proves that Youtuber side projects can be more than soulless money grabs"

So this might be the first youtuber side project that you just unabashedly enjoyed for what it is. Glad to hear that this is a good Kebab place As for the Vlogsquad thing I don't think it is a big deal cause for people who care it will be a nice Easter egg but for people who don't (like me) the murals won't mean anything except a colorful background to the restaurant. The prices seemed a bit high but then seeing how much food each one was it looked like it could feed 2 easily which makes it more reasonable.
