First C-Rank Mission (II) [Chapter 26]

“We are finally here, the Land of Iron” Yoruichi declared with a huge grin on her face as we walked past the entrance after paying a measly entrance fee. It has been four days since we left Kumo for our mission and while we could have skipped the Land of Iron, we decided to take a detour and use the Land of Iron to disguise ourselves as civvies.

“So, this is some kind of neutral ground or what?” I asked in a low tone when I noticed a couple of Iwa and Konoha Shinobis walking around. It was kind of weird to see Kohona and Iwa Shinobis shopping like completely normal people without being hostile to each other. The Kohona and Iwa Shinobis noticed us, but their gazes didn’t linger on us for long.

“Yeah… The Land of Iron is the only neutral ground we have” Yoruichi answered with a nod of her head. “The Land of Iron is the only place you will find Samurais, instead of Shinobis, and any Shinobi would be foolish to challenge a Samurai” Yoruichi warned in a grave tone and I couldn’t help but frown at her words. I could never understand why Samurais were so feared when they could only use Kenjutsu.

“Why?” Namaikina asked. Thank god, I wasn’t the only one.

Instead of answering, Yoruichi glanced around a bit before she started to speak in a hushed tone. “They practice an art called Laidō, which makes them really fast and unlike us, they only learn and practice Kenjutsu, which means they are better than us when it comes to Kenjutsu. Thanks to their speed, they can easily interrupt us while we are weaving through Hand Signs and Chakra Swords are lethal in close range” Yoruichi finished.

Wow… That explained quite a bit, but I don’t think they are going to pose any threat to S-Class Shinobis… After all, I can’t imagine Pein ever losing to a bunch of Samurais…

“That isn’t all… They could simply manipulate the Chakra they are channeling into their Swords. It allows them to not only extend the reach of their Swords but also shape them into different weapons and launch Chakra across distances as crescents of energy” Yoruichi finished with a sigh. “That is also why Daimyōs like to hire Samurais instead of Shinobis as personal guards” Yoruichi added thoughtfully.

“Where can we get swords like that?” I asked, after all, those Swords sounded interesting.

“You can’t. The Land of Iron only knows how to make them and they are only sold to Samurais” Yoruichi answered blandly.

Well, that sucks…

“Enough about them” Yoruichi practically ended the conversation with that as we stepped into an inn. It wasn’t luxurious or anything, but it was most definitely liveable. So, after paying the rent for a room with a double bed, we decided to grab some supplies before meeting back in the room. It only took us an hour to finish our shopping spree and it would have taken less if we had been allowed to run along the roofs.

“So…” I trailed off while staring at the beds before I turned back toward my teammates.

Namaikina seemed to blush at my unasked question, but Yoruichi simply grinned. It has been eleven months since Namaikina had tried to seduce me by flashing herself, but since then she hasn’t tried anything… If anything, I think she has become shyer since that incident. She was still brass as ever but she was a lot shier around me, which was kind of cute.

“The two of us will share a bed” Yoruichi stated while she cocked her head sideways. As expected, Namaikina lit up like a Christmas tree and started to sputter, but before she could say anything comprehensible, Yoruichi cut her off with a teasing grin on her face. “Don’t worry, we won’t be doing the naughty, as I don’t like spectators, but if you decide to join…” Yoruichi wasn’t able to finish before Namaikina bolted out of the room with a red face.

“Teasing her is so much fun!” Yoruichi cackled before she slung an arm around me to pull me closer. “What do you think?” She asked with mirth in her eyes.

“I wouldn’t deny it is amusing to see her act like that” I admitted as I cocked my head with a grin.

“By the way, I have an itch only you can take care of” Yoruichi whispered into my ears and I felt myself start to become hard at her words. “That is why I decided to get rid of the third wheel and now we have perfectly fine room for ourselves” Yoruichi added huskily into my ears.

“What if she returns?” I asked as I slowly turned around and snaked my arms around her. “Didn’t you say that you didn’t like spectators?” I asked as I pulled her closer to me. Yoruichi grinned and started to rub herself against me.

“She will get the show of her life…” Yoruichi trailed off with a grin on her face. “Now, shut up and fuck me like you mean it” Yoruichi demanded and not being one to disappoint, I started to grope her ass roughly as I smashed my lips against hers. I started to knead her ass cheeks, making her moan in my mouth…

Thankfully, we weren’t interrupted yesterday and we managed to make it two rounds before we finally decided to leave so that we could gather our supplies. Namaikina knew that we had done the deed, but she smartly kept her mouth shut even though I saw her glaring at Yoruichi while sporting a massive blush on her face. A part of me felt kind of bad for her, but that was it.

After all, I wasn’t going to make the first move since she wasn’t ready…

And now, here we were, making our way toward Yugakure, disguised as civilians. We weren’t even wearing our hitai-ates, which was kind of illegal, but it was kind of a gray area. While it was illegal for a Shinobi to take off their hitai-ates, they could do so if it became necessary to complete the mission and our mission most definitely required us to disguise ourselves as civilians.

“It should take us a day to reach Yugakure from here, so put on your game faces. We can’t afford any mistakes from here on…” Yoruichi declared in a no-nonsense tone, earning a nod from me and Namaikina…
