Little pre-story. Hall Bruce is a Canadian musician. I met him many years ago in Liverpool - we both were performing on the Beatleweek festival. Later he planned a big open air show in Liverpool called Summer Of Love Show. He contacted me and asked if I could be a part of his show. All the men musicians were from different countries - Australia, Germany, UK, USA, Canada. I was invited to perform 3 solo songs - Me and my Bobby McGee by Janis Joplin, and White Rabbit and Somebody to love by Jefferson Airplane. But Hal also asked me if I could partricipate in some other songs he was signing - to sing chords and harmonies. This was one of those songs. I loved it so much - when I was learning it being in Moscow a couple of months before I came to Liverpool. The shows were pretty huge - about 15 000 people on the streets. And this song reminds me of those times! I never thought I would record it. First - I was thinking that this type of songs - kind of men's 60s rock vocals type - would not fit my singing in general. And also I was sure that the instrumental would not fit. But as soon as I lifted it up 3 steps higher - it fitted perfectly, and I loooved singing it!
