This is the first one I filmed here back at home. But I recorded it on the ship, my friend set things up for me there - I had a cabin in the end of a corridor where I can shout like crazy, he gave me microphone and an audio device. I had my computer with me. So I recorded some songs. Couldn't film it there though, didn't have a right spot.
This one was requested many times on my channel. I don't dig Mariah Carey's latest music, too RnB for me. I like some of the older songs she did, as a kid I was actually trying to repeat her runs and technically she helped me very much. Whitney is my number one always. I visited Mariah's concert in 2003 I think - in Russia in the Kremlin palace, she was in great shape but I almost didn't hear her famous old ballads. She was mostly changing clothes and giving hip hop show with dancers. So it didn't touch me very much. But she is a great vocalist and I like this cover of hers. She made a cover on Pete Ham and Tom Evans of British rock group Badfinger, but I'm making Mariah's version - that's why her name is in the title.
