I've been sick for the last 3 weeks, I didn't do the test, so don't know if it was covid or not, it was like a regular flu, but the one thing that was unusual was the lost of smell and taste. I could still taste salty and sweet and sour, but that's it, I couldn't sense any more taste in the products which was very weird aahahah, and also I didn't feel any smells for about 3 days in a row, then I started feeling something - like coffee or oranges, and since then it got back about 50-60% I would say, still not recovered completely. I have a cough too. I needed to record something that my voice would be able to handle. So Carpenters was one of those "sick voice" options, it's low and soft but pointy and bright and a bit nasal. This is what I can do right now.
Also don't be surprised if in the near future you will hear some swedish songs, those ones are "sick voice" type of a music too, like Roxette or ABBA... Or even Scorpions! Also a bit nasal!
I won't risk to do any raspy voice or very intense songs but hopefully soon i will be able to do it!!!
This one - I love it. I was listening to it many times about 15 years ago. Then I didn't get back to it. Now I found it, and actually I only recently saw how Karen Carpenter looks like - so nice to see someone who you only had a chance to listen to many years ago )))
