audition hall

in the originally draft i made like over a year ago, the auditions were going to be held in the squeak squad hideout on ice island, but then i changed that because i felt it was too drastic of a setting change and also it wouldn't really make sense for the squad to publicly disclose the location of their base for an audition, i don't think.
then, the struggle became thinking of a place they would have auditions. i'd imagine in real life if you wanted to host something like this, you'd rent a room in some kind of hotel or office building for the day, right? the problem then became trying to think of an equivalent on planet pop star. theres not really a ton of buildings, and when there are, it's usually castles and towers and houses. office buildings can be kind of tower-ish, though, right? so i landed on having it take place in a room in Butter Building. i think i'm pretty happy with that choice!
oh, also, do you recognize the folks waiting in line behind adeleine? i wanted to choose characters that could make good thieves, schemers, rats, and/or con artists. maybe i should try to find a way to stick in TAC, actually... i completely forgot he existed til right now!
