a few pictures at the beach
Added 2020-06-09 05:02:07 +0000 UTCHere we are at the beach. I have based this locale specifically on float islands. if you look at the post i made before this one you might be able to spot a certain castle on the horizon...!
i think this place was overall much easier to draw than butter building. nature backgrounds tend to give you more freedom for loose and organic geometry, i didnt have to worry about making floor tiles or brick walls that didn't look wonky.
here you can see mr. floaty, who will be playing a bit of a significant role in this video! he probably speaks the most behind daroach. i really don't know what kind of voice i exactly want for him, i just know it'd have to be something goofy.
as you can also see from the last image, mr. floaty was originally going to be mr. frosty. i chose mr. frosty for a couple of reasons that will likely be evident later on (hint: it has to do with a particular pose he is well known for). when super kirby clash was revealed and a beach-themed version of mr. frosty was shown off, however, i knew it was the PERFECT change to make. It's already on the beach! just perfect. so i'm excited that worked out so well.
