Lookie here! some things I drew today. nothing super exciting, i suppose, but i love these meta knight expressions, lol. Oh, also, if you saw the first animated preview I posted for this video, you might notice that I have in fact added the mailman hat to Bronto Burt since then!

i think i was at some point going to draw meta knight with less detail than i ended up doing here, but it's hard to resist honestly. i love doing his shoe details and the ... horn.. things on his mask. hopefully thats not adding an entire extra hour to production time.

also! little hallway shot background i did. really like how it came out. i was inspired by the halberd interior design from the subspace emissary in super smash bros brawl. i like it being a very dark-lit steampunk-ish looking industrial place. I've also opted to make the backgrounds here monochromatic, as in they use only one color+black and white values added in for shading. I'm pretty sure that's what monochromatism is. I'm like 95% sure. i guess i didn't entirely follow that rule for the halberd exterior shot, which i might adjust to better fit that. you'll see if i actually do!
