Added 2021-02-23 06:56:30 +0000 UTCi'm so super close to being done here. i seriously have 2 seconds of animation left before i upload the special EARLY ACCESS VERSION to paintreon. i reckon that will be in 2 days, on the 24th of february. probably going to release the full one on the 28th. cutting it close there!!
it's honestly kind of a wonder that i managed to get this video out so fast. i've been too adjusted to these things taking like twice that time. i really cut back on some colors and backgrounds but i 100% think it was worth it in the end. the animation itself didnt really suffer at all from it. i think people will like this one.
also: holy moly. i just realized i came up with the idea for this in DECEMBER of 2018. over two years ago!! this was probably the second or third aqua teen kirby short i ever thought of, since december 2018 was right before i finished work on Checkers. i think i never got around to it because i was more eager to explore master shake dedede. we've got plenty of that from me now though so the time was right to give frylock meta knight some love!
