PICTURE PREVIEW: Some colors, some more sketches, yes
Added 2022-08-02 04:46:08 +0000 UTCHEY!!! I've been a little unproductive lately. That's okay, that's okay. I think I've been at risk of burnout. But I'm back on it now! I did some more work today on my next planned kirby short and it feels good.
It's pretty straightforward here, I think. First I drew up some little character designs just to settle on the look of this particular video. I wanted to do something a little more soft, a little more warm in the colors, to represent the sweet yummy dessert land of Dream Buffet.
I'm also planning out all the shots now! I'm just going through them in order at the moment. I fully colored all the characters in the first shot as you can see. I'll probably just do rough sketches of the rest so I know how everything's gonna look before I go nuts coloring stuff. Coloring takes so long.
Overall I think I really wanna try to keep the animation here under control. A little limited. I think it'll have a charm to it with the style I've created here. And hopefully, that will save me some time. It would be nice to finish this by the end of the month. I can't promise that, though, I might not. But it would be nice. So I will try.
