PICTURE PREVIEW: The Horror? (+ SURPRISE CAMEO!!)
Added 2023-03-06 04:35:13 +0000 UTCHello! I've been really busy at work on the animation for SONIC CLONE CHAOS PART 2. It's supposed to be coming out next month, so I've been extremely busy. Still, I owe you some updates!
Here's a few screencaps of the yet-to-be-colored animation. I've been having my friend KING GONZALEZ do the colors for me, and that's been a real blessing I gotta say. Coloring takes SO MUCH TIME. So I'm always glad to have less of it to do, when possible. Right there we just have a funny (/disturbing?) smear frame. And Tails looking quite unwell! Uh oh.
BUT WAIT. Who's that beaver????
It's FASTIDIOUS BEAVER of course! Haha! That's right, I gave him a little moment here. He's not the first Sonic Boom character to be in Clone Chaos, either, as I also included DAVE THE INTERN serving chili dogs.
The Sonic Boom characters just felt like pretty natural inclusions to the story, I think even as far back as the really early drafts of last year I have good old Fastidious show up. I wanted to maybe include Comedy Chimp, who I just think is an inherently hilarious character, but sad to say it wasn't quite in the cards for this one.
I hope everyone is looking forward to the release later this month. I'll be honest, I'm a little worried that I won't make the deadline. BUT I gotta have faith in myself. Gotta be positive. Gotta work hard. I'm probably gonna be twice as productive once I complete the new Kirby game tonight.
