Check out these TURNAROUNDS!!! Whoa!!!

I teased these a bit earlier, but now they're in COLOR. And there's a new outfit!! It was partially designed by my friend King, who you may or may not know (she posts art here). She did a lot of help with coloring on Sonic Clone Chaos, and for this next project she's got a bit more involvement.

I suppose I should you in on what exactly this is a bit more: YES this is my next video for Mashed. The script got approved so I felt it appropriate to start sharing stuff from it. What's it about, though? Well, clearly, it's got something to do with chess, right? Sure! Will Kirby be there? Absolutely! Ah, haha, maybe you can piece the story together from that alone? I'll leave the rest to your imagination for now.

Right now, the next step is starting on the voice acting. I talked with Tom Jenkins, the producer, about what direction to go for that. He's gonna be played by Steven Kelly, who has done a lot of voice work on the channel. Apparently he's a fan of Dedede so that's great! Tom and I were kind of on a similar page on the sort of delivery he'd give: a pompous, grand, booming, and confident sense of superiority. And, don't worry, I DID suggest a similar cadence to Master Shake from Aqua Teen. As of right now, I don't really know what exactly Steven's take on it sounds like, so I'm just as curious as you all!

The plan for this one is to be about four minutes long, and to release sometime in June. I actually took a lot of inspiration from Death Note while writing it, if you can believe that. As always, I'm hoping to push the artistry, the expressiveness, the drama, and the humor of this one even further than I have before. I'm really excited to bring it all together!
