Picture preview: Random Various Character Cels

Helloooohhh Everyone. I can confirm that the animation of this video is coming along! I've done about One minute, Nine seconds. 1:09. That's about 40% of my overall animation on this. The rest is handled by the co-animator: WONCHOP. He's done a lot of stuff for Mashed. I've actually been familiar with him for quite a while. I remember watching his Sonic parody flash cartoons when I was a kid. So, I was a little bit starstruck. I haven't seen any finished animation from him yet, but I'm sure it will be at least decent. LOL. Nah. My boarding is really good, I swear. It'll be great.

Because I've been getting a lot of animation done, I thought it'd be fun to show you a bunch of CELS!!!! With the way my process works, I save all the assets you see in my videos as individual images, or cels, that I sequence in a video editor. It's kind of like a classic traditional way of doing animation, except if all the tools were digital. Pretty cool.

So yeah, I've included a bunch of cels that have been colored, and I've also included one that has yet to be colored so you can see how that looks. That's actually as far as I draw these cels, the uncolored version. Then I send it to King for her to color. It's a genuine pipeline we've got going on. Let me tell you, not having to color it myself honestly might have doubled my productivity, so that's pretty fantastic.

Release date is still June 15th! I'm feeling more confident by the day that we'll make that goal. I remember when that was first announced, I may have panicked a bit, internally. But, also, I knew it wasn't impossible, if we just planned it smart. I've actually made a little daily agenda for myself!

I've legit never made something like this before, where I plan out how much animation I'm going to do by the day. But, I've found that I can reliably anticipate how much I can realistically do per day, and I wanted to make sure that I was still on track to finish in time. Right now, I'm on day 3, so it leaves me like 5 days to spare if I keep to this regimen. Basically, I can PROMISE you that this will release in time. Exciting??

Here's a fun riddle I'll leave you with. Of the cels I posted, four of them were storyboarded by me, but three of them were boarded by King. Can you tell the difference in style? Which ones are 100% Seap originals? Oooh, so mysterious!! I genuinely wonder if you'll be able to tell, either here or in the final video. Don't be shy! Go on, guess! Give your guess!!!
