PICTURE: The First Time Ever That I've Drawn Her For Real

Ta-da! Great news! Unless this video gets scrapped in the writing phase, Mashed has decided to go ahead with one of my pitches!

If you missed it earlier, I posted some various ideas that I've tried to pitch to the producers at Mashed. It caught me completely by surprise, but they decided to go with the "LUIGI'S TALKING FLOWER" idea. Right now! They said "Go and get to work on it right away!!"

I've actually been extremely busy scripting it out these past few days. There's been a few snags on the road. A lot of reworks and having to shave things down tremendously. Everyone cross your fingers, because I finally whittled it down to under 7 minutes while keeping most of my favorite moments. Now I'm just waiting for the Mashed Men to tell me what they think of it.

One very pressing matter about this cartoon: It heavily features Princess Daisy. From Super Mario. I've never really drawn her that much before! So I had to find some time in between script drafting to sketch her and kind of figure out how I want her to look. I think this is a pretty satisfactory result! I love all her shapes in her hair and on her face, and wanted to maintain that appeal while also translating it to something more my style. WHAT DO YOU THINK!?!?

So yeah. TL;DR, I'm working on the next Mashed video right now, and I'm hoping to get through the writing phase really soon. I'm a big fan of the idea that was cooked up; the places it goes might shock you. It's gonna be a huge project, I think. There's so many different sets and costumes. I hope to amaze you soon (Or in like, two months realistically).
