CLIP: Jogging
Added 2024-01-03 08:59:32 +0000 UTCHere's a snippet of animation from the upcoming video, which is supposedly arriving at the end of this month. It's been a bit quiet on Mashed's end, and often when that happens I expect some sort of delay, but I'm not counting on it. Gotta work fast.
Hopefully this gets out on time! I'm in big trouble if not, hehehe! Nahh but I've got like... phew, I guess a fifth of it drawn, assuming we're going 50/50 on the animation between me and Dranzer. I was told they're having him help out a lot on this one since he usually works a lot quicker than me. Idk where he is yet though... let's not cut it too close! LOL. I'm just worrying out loud. I think it will be okay.
Oh yeah, about this animation. I guess it speaks for itself. Oh, if you're wondering why the first half looks so choppy and weird, it's a slow motion shot. Those are really hard to do in traditional 2D like I do, since prolonged action = more required animation. I think it came out fine enough here, though, for what the moment requires. If you want it to look a little more fluid then go x2 on the playback. Isn't that neat? OK
That's it for now, I think. Going to be working mighty hard on this one. I tried to keep most of the animation needed pretty resourceful, lots of room for rotating assets and there's not a ton of unique angles. If I played my cards right, then I've saved myself a lot of trouble in getting this done. But we'll see. Looking forward to some weeks from now!
