I'm so excited about the attic transformation episode!! I've always wanted to start a YouTube channel, but I can never muster the courage to film myself. I think having a beautiful background would motivate me. I can't wait to learn your tips and tricks! xoxo from North Carolina <3

Just a little tidbit, bat feces is actually the big worry. The spores from dried feces... histoplasmosis. Birds and bats actually. I have a pigeon we saved from a snow bank when she was itty bitty. I have to be very aware of her droppings and clean them quickly. I’d rescue a bat in a heartbeat ❤️

My attitude to the creepie crawlies (I’m from Australia where most of the DEADLIEST creatures reside) is to live and let live when it comes to the FREELOADERS… however enter my personal space and it’s death from above!!!! ☠️☠️☠️

If you come to the UK, you need to visit York and Whitby. There are lots of ghost walks you can do in York, the best one starts in a street called 'The Shambles'. We did this on our honeymoon and it was sooo much fun, and the guy who does it is really creepy and spectacular.

Hi! I’m so happy to be here ❤️ a few recommendations!
A lovely person above mentioned Ask A Mortician, Caitlin is incredible and knowledgeable, and is also the cofounder of the Order of the Good Death. It is a phenomenal resource.
Second, if you ever come closer to New England for antique-ing, the Elephants Trunk Flea Market and the Stormville NY Flea Market are fantastic. You have to do a lot of sifting, but I have found true treasures every time.
SO EXCITED for your upcoming projects!!

Cemetry UK recommendation - Bristol Arnos Vale Cemetry. I hope you come to the South West when you visit the UK.
A very Victorian style gothic cemetry, in one of the gorgeous buildings you can see some of the old equipment they used to use

Wish I had been there for this livestream. My 16 year son and I love your videos. Every October we decorate for Halloween and we try to make our living room and kitchen as spooky as we can. This year we are going to try to make some of the masks you made last year. He is looking forward to being uninvited to high school with his mask, lol. We love your creations!

If your in London try to visit Highgate Cemetery. The West side is the oldest part and buying a ticket gets you both sides, but other than famous people buried in the East side, the more interesting graves are in the West side. Very old and quite creepy, worth the time and cost!

if you’re interested in visiting Northern Ireland I would recommend the Bushmills Inn in bushmills, it’s in a tiny ancient town that’s a few minutes from Giant’s Causeway and also not far from the Dark Hedges where game of thrones was filmed. There’s so many beautiful coastal towns and historical sites.
Or, the Slieve Donard hotel in Newcastle, Co. Down. The hotel is old and creepy, and the town is so beautiful with views of the mountains. It’s kinda out of the way but it’s not far from Belfast (the capital), where you can visit where the Titanic was built!

We went to Ireland in November. We had a private driver that took us on a Castle tour. I think we stayed in six castles, and they were flexible to take us off route, if we had a request. One of my reuests was to go to an amazing cemetery. Can send you the company info, if you're interested.
Will be at Midsummer Scream each day. Can't wait for what you have planned!

I just got back from Italy! Rome was our favorite, but Pompeii was magical. We stayed one night in this old, quirky hotel in Florence near the train station that seemed stuck in time- the decor, furnishings, layout date back to the early 1900s I believe. I think you’d love it.

Christine, I hope you get this message. I just saw on my Google news feed that they're opening up a pop-up Golden girls restaurant in July! … bees and wasps are highly intelligent and you can talk to them. They can read your intentions very well, so it's good to practice communicating to them, they will understand you. (I do kill a few bugs too, like carpenter bees that try to eat my 200 year old home)

Hi, Christine, to combat the mosquitoes we're leaving a few buckets of water in the yardd in which we've put "Dunks" which is a natural mosquito killer. I've put some wire baskets over them to make sure local animals don't try to bathe in it, although I don't think it will hurt them much if they happened to. Dunks are small disks of BT, a natural bacillus.

When I was in elementary school I drew a tombstone and promptly was suspended from school by the teacher who was easily spooked. The second time she suspended me, I'd called her 'stupid', lol. Mom forbid me from watching Dark Shadows, but my husband and I are making up for it by watching it now, lol! I keep telling myself that it's all right to take as much time as I need to finish my crafts and my videos. I only want to put out the best I can do, too. (sign, it's a worry sometimes)

The most architecturally beautiful places to visit in England are Oxford and Cambridge (1 hour from London). Visit the Pitt Rivers museum in Oxford for curiosities, the Turf Tavern is the cutest pub, Botanic Gardens are great, Magdalen College and New College are beautiful to walk around. In Cambridge - visit the world-famous chapel at King's College (where I studied!). The famous ghost story writer M.R.James also studied there. You can take your mum punting along the River Cam. Both cities are just so beautiful and can be visited in one day each.

I lived in switzerland for 3 years (Fribourg and La -Chaux-de-Fonds) and there are so many things to see... In Fribourg you might be interested by the Tinguely exposition. Very strange and crazy. And the Gigger Museum in Gruyere (creator of alien, sure you know it). And there is a little boutique in Fribourg with a lot of vintage jewelery and fabrics and cabaret closes (Rue des Alpes).

As usual, and from now on, I will assume it always will be this way, I did not make the live….very excited about your upcoming projects! I do nearly everything with my daughter…she has actually said I will never be rid of her and that is fine 💕 I murdered a giant spider when in England…it was 7 years ago, and I still feel horrible about it. I felt bad right after I did it….why did I do such a horrible thing? But it burst angrily over the window sill after we opened the kitchen window….it was huge!

So excited for everything that's coming up. I think your attic will look AMAZING when you're done and your seance room, well that's a whole other level.
It's funny when you said that you relate to children who like spooky things. My whole life I've been able to see and talk to spirits. When I was about 9 or 10 my parents got a priest in to bless our home and me😂I think they thought I was possessed or something. I'm very lucky that 2 of my children are into the same things as me. Have a great day Christine 💜💜
