PICTURE: Sheets
Added 2024-04-19 17:51:11 +0000 UTCCharacter and object sheets for the upcoming Mashed video! They're all colored and look so nice!
These were colored by my Mashed colorist, King. We've got a nice default palette of all the characters, an in-shade version, then some bugs, and designs on the Eggmobile!
Things are really ramping up on this one. It's supposed to come out in two weeks, but... if I can confide in you all, I have no idea how that's going to happen. Things have been a bit strange production-wise, I think we still don't have a background artist! So I'm imagining this will be pushed back. I'm hoping it will be pushed back, honestly. My life has been stressing me out.
I really like how the bugs came out! I've shown a rougher look at them before. Basically they're like regular Sonic enemies but if they were the actual insects the robots are based on.
The Eggmobile design with its big machine attachment, too, that looks really good I think. That was a design that wasn't super well-defined when I started storyboarding, so the pressure was kind of on when I had to devise its final design. It looks pretty sharp though, especially with the colors.
