CLIP: New video in a day and a half! Eggman hates all the bugs!

If you didn't see on their Youtube page, they've posted a small short clip of the finished video. I'm not going to link it here because I'm LAZY.
Like I said, this was just cleanup work, so I actually didn't animate this outright. The rough cut for this was by Brandon Maker, who is one of three animators working on this. Since we're really trying to make sure this gets out in time, I took over the cleaning up and the coloring for this shot. I also just really liked this shot in the boards so I was happy to finish it up.
As of now, we only have one final shot left to animate, and it's a doozy. My favorite shot in the whole short, and it's quite a long and elaborate one. I'm wishing Brandon luck on that. I really, really can't wait to see that all finished. I've at least gotten to hear the music done for that part, and it's so good! It's a great moment. None of which you are seeing here, of course, but this is a really short clip and I don't have much to say about it that isn't spoken for by how good it turned out.
Actually, you can't really tell because I rendered this before I colored it red so it's more visible, but one small detail Brandon added that I think is SO cool that I want you to look out for in the final edit, is the "!" that pops up over Eggman's head here. As he's trying to swat away the wasp, the exclamation mark is actually scribbled away by his hand movement. I didn't even notice that until I was coloring it, and it's such a great little touch. You can just baaaareeely tell it happens!
Kind of hard to believe this is finally arriving so soon! It should be in a day and a half from now. May 23rd. Mark your calendar. It should be then. WOOHOO!!!
