CLIP: Part 2 Beginning

The first shot of the short has been fully animated and colored! Look, it's so cool looking, isn't it? I'm getting a lot more comfortable with this new software by the day. I'm actually really proud of the animation on Cubot, I dunno, the sleeve rolling down and his pointing gesture just looks really solid! Even though it is partially obscured by Sage.
This part actually starts out with the Orbot and Cubot B-plot. As you can see here, they've got their full Eggman attire on:
You'll probably notice that I've actually changed Cubotnk's clothes slightly in the final animation. I gave him the jacket from his Sonic 06 design. Mainly because, logistically, I was thinking "Would Eggman have two identical fits of the same jacket?" So I wanted to suggest that Orbot and Cubot are digging up old spare outfits that the doctor doesn't wear anymore (hence Orbot's "Classic" attire).
I've actually started on Shot 2 as well! I'm planning on animating the entire opening scene at Eggman's lair. Just because I really like animating Orbot and Cubot and Sage. Keep an eye out!
