As for today's Picture Preview: It's the primary artwork for the upcoming video! You might have a lot of thoughts, a lot of questions...

If you don't remember, a few months ago I started working on a vocal cover of a particular Kirby song. I hadn't actually mobilized the assets necessary to make it an actual video, like a visual video, until now!

This will be an entry in the Munkshroom/E3 Toad/Christmas Toad saga. Maybe the penultimate one. I'm hoping to have the premiere animated short out with them this summer, though that is a burden that lies heavily on Ryan Ribbity, as I cannot dedicate toooooo much more free time to it beyond the storyboarding I've already done. We're aiming for the end of the month, though.

It's sort of a hack image-collage job for the background, but it came out pretty decently. I didn't want to overcomplicate the visuals TOO heavily, but make it just funny enough. Since E3 was held in Los Angeles, I included the LA convention center, the Griffith Observatory, some buildings from the skyline, the Hollywood sign, and uhhh bridge!

I might update the background a bit, who knows. Any suggestions for background details? I'm open to ideas. I might should include more fallen video game iconography like the collapsed Mario statue.

Mostly what's left for the video portion is I want to have the lyrics on screen, and also some kind of audio visualizer effect using portraits of Alvin, Simon, and Theodore. Not sure if the software I use has anything for that, but... We'll find out!
