This is another one starring the Munkshrooms. Reception to their previous single was actually pretty decent! I've had people who know nothing of my work praise it, which is a little surprising. I'm glad it has value beyond bizarre inside jokes.
Like I said, this is basically my first take of it. There's some things about it that I'll wanna re-mix and rerecord and such, but as of right now all the lyrics are finished!
If you don't recognize the backing track I'm singing against... Well, I commissioned it! Yeah!! I approached the marvelous MoolaMixtape about doing an arrangement of the famous Chipmunk Song, but in the style of Settling a Score ~ Atone for One's Misdeeds! from Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe. I was originally gonna go for a 30-40 second track, since that was really all I needed, but because he found the idea really funny, we're gonna have a full minute loop of this one!
I'm planning to release it alongside the upcoming Startcast animation, which I will share a preview of this week. Expect to hear the instrumental playing as the score to a climactic scene!
