I had to record some noises for the upcoming Munkshroom/Startcast crossover special. Loud noises. Turn the volume down.
I won't show the whole sequence this is for quite yet, but I've started animated a part of it and it's SO COOL. I won't lie, it genuinely sort of gave me chills. ALMOST. So it might actually give you chills.
It's a climactic action sequence, so I had to do some battle screams. Oh boy. The thing about these, too, is that the audio is sped up, right? So if I need to drag out a certain sound for a specific amount of time, I actually have to perform it slower than I normally would. So I'm screaming EXTRA hard, for an EXCESSIVE amount of time per scream. Not a good idea. I will not recommend doing this.
I went to brush my teeth after recording these, and it came out red in the sink! I wasn't even hurting that bad, it was just coming out red. OK, TMI TMI, basically, it made my throat bleed. Don't mess around with that! I'm just being a maniac here. I'm killing myself for the art. The ART.
Regardless of the horror story behind its creation, I hope you enjoy these really loud sounds. If you're a fan of Kirby then it should be easy to recognize the sorts of screams I'm going for. That was very much intentional.... you'll see why when the video is finished, though!
Also, the echo is fun. It makes it sound like final smash voice clips. Like you're listening to the sound test in For Wii U.
