I'm late af to this, my bad, but bro you'd be sooo mf locked in watching The Clone Wars omg (most popular star wars show, which you'd watch after the main movies). I'd pay extra to get a truly non-spoiled reaction out of you to the main movies and shows. Real shit. Do what you wanna do tho, obviously. Nobody wants you to react to something you don't care about, but I think you'd enjoy it

Shae doesn't love Tyrion in the books, and really IS only there for money. Tyrion DID love his first wife, but it's mostly him thinking about her (which the show can't communicate to us), so the show simplified things by making his loving relationship be with Shae.
