Yeah the Ros thing is funny. You're totally right, I don't really know why I (and most people, I think) never got attached to her character. I think on my first watch through I struggled with the sheer number of characters. I'm not even sure that I knew who Ros was, or that it was the same lady who's been around since season 1. So that was probably a factor.
