2025-02-12 20:12:18 +0000 UTCI like rhaenyra but I think alicent haters take it too far, especially by this point. Taking the dagger was crazy but everything alicent does is extremely understandable. Her father forcing her onto the king when she was a child and all the other things she’s had to endure and be an example as the queen, and rhaenyra as much as I love her is just doing whatever the hell she wants with no consequence. Ur one of the only reactors I’ve seen to try and understand everything from both point of views

Your willingness to engage equally with each character and understand where they're coming from rather than blindly hate them when they're being "irrational" is really refreshing. And anyone who understands Alicent's position and has empathy for her and what she's been through to lead her there is a green flag in my book <3
