Hi, sometimes those interaction are unstable and sometimes they might not work on the first try. The best solution right now is at keep trying it and it should work eventually. Hopefully I’ll be able to find a better solution for this issue soon

Hi, it could be because you are using a non pregnant sim to interact with the arch. If you are using a pregnant sim, try changing the sims trimester with mccc to something else and change it back after.

Hi Panda I love your mods, you're so talented. Thank you for everything you do. I'm having a problem with my sims reading to the baby while she's pregnant. They will get on the bed but then they get up. My sim is in her third trimester. I didn't have any issues before so I'm not sure what to do 😭 also, the cuddle interaction doesn't come up anymore when she's pregnant. They get the moodlets as if they did (well, the husband does, the wife doesn't) but the animation doesn't happen. Everything else is still working tho.

I’m having a very weird glitch since the recent patch update I only have two mods in my game this one and the health one you made, but can interact with all the items. the gender reveal stuff and when my Sim is in labor, I can send her to the hospital and she can do the realistic birth with the ball and stuff but for some reason, I cannot call the doctor to plan my birth or ultrasound

Make sure you click on the arch with a pregnant sim (2nd -3rd trimester). Miscarriages not from my mod so I have no idea how to fix that. Your sim needs to be lactating to nurse toddlers, give her lactation cookies until you see the ready to nourish moddlet

hi I am not able to purchase a balloon or cake, when I click on the balloon arch. The only thing showing is view. Also another problem I was having is when I would have a baby shower or gender reveal my sim would've a miscarriage. As well as my sim isn't able to nurse their toddlers.

It’s possible for the dad to ask and get a phone call when it’s time, but they will just go into a rabbit hole since NPCs can’t give birth using the birth mod 😔

My script mod is enabled as i have some of the mod still on my game and the one drive on my computer is connected to my college so it would not be allowed to be installed on there and it would of been flagged already. I can still access the CC and some of the playable areas of the mod but those 3 areas are not working, i have check through my mod file and it is installed on there as it was when i first downloaded it and it worked fine. i can still breast pump and make formula but i cant actually feed the baby it anymore. My sim can't call the obstetrician or give birth with the mod features.

I see, in that case there could be two other things that are causing your issue. The first one is that you have one drive on your computer and the script file could be in your One Drive (the cloud). If you disable your One Drive it will do one of two things. The script file will return to your computer and the issue should be resolved. Or your mods folder will get messed up (some files will be missing) in which case you’ll have to redownload the files. The second possibility is you didn’t re-enable script mod when your game was updated. Simply just turn script mod back on, restart your game and that should fix your issue.

I had downloaded it and played for a few days and it was perfectly fine, i had 2 sims give birth with it so it was installed okay but when i went on it again the next day, those areas had stopped working. i had not changed anything or updated the game so it has nothing to do with the installation.

Unfortunately I do believe the issue you’re having is caused by user error. The good thing is it just seems like a simple installation mistake that can be fixed very easily by just carefully reading through the installation tutorial.

i've installed okay as it was running fine altogether and then when i started sims back up it was working properly, i think there may be something wrong with the mod.

Hi, it seems like you having a different issue the previous person. Just reinstalling the mod will not fix the problem you’re having unfortunately. It does sound like the problem you’re having is an installation issue. I recommend the you read through the mod installation tutorial throughly. There may be a small step you have missed (especially the the last sentence of step 6)

Hi, i'm having the same problem as the person above. i think their maybe a glitch because it was working one day and then i went back to play and the birthing, feeding the breast milk and formula and trips to the obstetrician don't work. i have deleted it and reinstalled it 2x and those areas are still not working but everything else is working fine.

Hi, so I have updated the mod however, something has broken? When using wicked whims for them to do their thing it will normally pop up with a 'your sim may now be pregnant' prompt, but it doesn't do this anymore and when I do to do a pregnancy test, there is no option for that either anymore.

Ok I found your LE in the SAD server. first thing is you have two copies of BE installed, one of them is outdated and from 2023, you need to find it and remove it. as for the error from the childbirth mod, I believe you placed down the party glasses bucket with the MoveObjectCheats on, you need to turn it off and move the bucket somewhere else, then try again. and like the helpers in SAD said you need to remove these two files, they are 100% in your mods folder based on the last MCLE you sent, so look again. I've tried uploading an expectation file to the sims after dark server but they do not understand me at all they're not able to fix it either i removed the mod from my game about 1-2 days ago and it seems to be fixed but i got a better expectation as soon as i opened the game from the birth mod i can try to email you a better expectation file just let me know your email

Hey Panda, thanks for replying. Since you can normally store milk in a deep freezer anywhere from 6months to a year I think maybe a full sim calender worth of days would work (24). The freezer can be optional so if people aren't interested in keeping it that long they don't have to get it. It would be a great option for sims with really long lifespans to be able to keep the milk and use it in sippy cups for toddlers when they begin weaning. Ofcouse it's all wishful thinking at the moment it was be wonderful to play with these extra options. Thanks again.

In the base game you are able to breastfeed babies and infants. One they turn into an infant the breastfeeding option goes away in the base game. With my mod installed you be able to still breastfeed the toddler when your sim is lactating

They can still breastfeed their other small children, like infant. But as soon as they are toddler (any household), the breastfeed option goes away for them.

Hi, the milk will last for 6 1/2 days in the fridge. Currently there are no plans to do a long term storage or deep freeze options at the moment. But that is something to think about for the future.

Hi, in order for your sim to breastfeed they need to be lactating. Your sim will need to eat lactation cookies until you see the ready to nourish moodlet and then your sim will be able to breastfeed

Hi Panda I've been mowing a problem over in my head for months now when it comes to the birth mod. I love the realism it adds but something is missing. I go the full nine yards when my sim lactates and it seems like the milk just spoils way too quickly in the fridge and I have no way to freeze it for longer-term storage like I would in real life. Do you have any plans on adding a deep freezer to the mod for milk storage or something that could possibly negate that issue?

Hi PandaSama, Thanks so much for all your hard work making this mod, its one of my favourites. I am hoping you can help me, I am pretty sure I have the latest version of the mod installed, I just updated my mods folder a couple of weeks ago... I do also have RPO, MCC and a few other mods that have nothing to do with pregnancy/reproduction (not even the invisible bassinette). I am just starting a history challenge, so was doing my best to not have too much "modern" things but I thought I needed the midwife, and I needed the birthpool for home birth. The option for "ask to accompany to childbirth" did not appear for my sims partner but it did appear for other sims that my pregnant sim did not have a good relationship with, but I thought I would see what happened with labour. She went into labour fine, but her partner was not assisting her, and none of the animations worked (they would appear as actions in their queue but the sims would just freeze and stare at each other). The midwife arrived when called, but the option to "check dilation" was not there, only "check on baby" I tried this several times then went through the "shift-click-childbirth" menu and selected "make sim fully dilated". I then selected the pool and clicked give birth, the sim got into the pool and the midwife stood beside her but they were just frozen again, then the pregnant sim got out still pregnant, I tried again but same result. Then I clicked the bassinet and clicked "unassisted birth" and this animation worked, but when finished the bassinet disappeared, and so did the baby. I did the go to another household and back to mine thing but that did not fix the issue and the baby is floating about in sixam or something and I am hoping we can get her back! Thank you for reading my very long novel, I am sure I have done something to mess everything up, but if you can steer me in a troubleshooting direction I would really appreciate it! - Jess

Hello, I am having an issue with the childbirth mod. In the pie menu, it is leaving a blank space with no writing. If I click on it, it gives the other sim a hug. I did a 50/50 and it was the one causing it. I am not sure if anyone else is having this issue or not.

Hi pandasama, I've been having an issue with the mod I'm on windows and anytime i go to the hospital with my sim they cant use any of the hospital stuff like the beds the ultrasound scan they cant even get an epidural it keeps saying sim cant get to the object even if they are standing right next to it or nothing is in the way of them getting to the object. So, you when there is interaction option shows up when you want tell the partner that you are pregnant or you tell at he front reception that you are up for the ultrasound or even with doctors, those options won't show up interaction. Instead there just blank(no text) bubble show up among the other default interaction. According to me, these blank no text interaction are due to this mod as I when I removed this mod, this problem won't show up. I hope this helps!! If not please let me know. I will try to define as best as possible. Thank you so much for time☺️

Just wanted let you know that some of interaction options are showing up as blank, no text at all. I can call obsterician but when on clinic I can interact with anything related to this mod because interaction box have to text! Somehow cuddle interaction work, exercise and some others but I can't tell my partner sim that I am pregnant. I have download the updated mod.

Hi, it could be because you have an old version of the mod in your mods folder somewhere . You’ll need to find it and delete it. It could also be due to a outdated translation in you play on a language other than English

Hey downloaded the updated version of the mod and made sure there were no older versions. I even followed the steps on your post about making sure there was no duplicates with mccommand center, and I didnt find any duplicate files. But for some reason I cant get the supplies for the gender reveal when I start the party. When I click on the balloon the only option is to view it. Is there something else im doing wrong? Hi, it’s possible you have an older version of the mod in your mods folder. You must delete all your old versions of the mod after downloading the gender reveal update. It’s also possible that you have downloaded the gender disabler. If you downloaded this then none of the gender reveal stuff will be active.

Hi, this isn’t a bug. Your sim will not be able to give birth alone on the bed or in the pool. The only way to give birth alone is with the bassinet and unassisted birth.

I had amazing idea for Realistic Pregnancy! A nursing fridge (mini fridge) with its only function is to hold breast milk or formula milk. Maybe some type of bottle warmer to do the animation of warming the bottle at a sink. In my game, I wanted to create a lactation station and wanted everything in one spot for quick feedings. The nursing fridge could be a mini fridge. I tried placing a mini fridge but my sims kept going to it and taking out leftover so if the nursing fridge only function was "get milk" that would be amazing! It could be placed in bedrooms or baby nurseries. It could even be a small minifridge that could fit on a desk or counter. Another suggestion would be functional baby monitors. If there is 2 pieces, 1 for the baby room and the other piece could be in a parent/ guardian inventory or even placed in a different room in the house. When the baby/ infant/toddler cries, the sim with the receiving end of the babu monitor would be alerted (even while sleeping) and go to the room with the first baby monitor

Hi! My mod doesn’t have any moodlets related to pregnancy trimesters/discoveries. From what I understand all my pregnancy interactions (calling the ob, getting gender reveal supplies) are blocked until your sim discovers their pregnancy

I have a question; back in November, Lumpinou (RPO creator) released a feature which delays the natural discovery of pregnancy to the 2nd trimester if the Sim does not take a pregnancy test. I play with a custom life span, such that each trimester lasts for 7 days and it always felt like "natural" discovery of pregnancy was too quick, so I was super excited for this option in my gameplay. My question is, do you have any plans on incorporating a similar feature into your own pregnancy moodlets, etc? I know nothing about modding/scripts, so I am not certain if it is possible for your mod to be made able to recognize when the RPO option is selected for the delayed pregnancy discovery, but if it can, that would be awesome. I can never play without yours and Lumpinou's mods in my game ever again. You are both phenomenal creators!

If the rest of the mod works(that is you actually know what the rest of the mod does and not confuse it with RPO) and just not the gender reveal part then there are no other explanation besides old versions. You’ll have to either go through the tutorial again, or do the 50/50 method until you figure out which file contains the old versions, since sometimes people download mod reuploads, and people who reupload our mods change the name of the file which will render the tutorial I made useless

You should go to their discord for help...they mention they will offer help there and they link the invite. But before you do, just a simple check, make sure you deleted the 2 old files before adding the 2 new files to your folder. It will not replace them properly as the file names are different on the package file.

Your sim has to be pregnant between the 1st to 3rd trimester. Try restarting their pregnancy with mccc and see if it helps

Tip for anyone else having their first gender revel party: Don't buy the cake before you are ready to do the actual reveal. Sims being sims, my hungry pregnant sim just took a slice from the cake in the inventory and therefor ruined the surprise! Haha, well I guess it's a boy then.

First thank you sooooo much for this AMAZING mod I have no idea how I ever played before you dropped this idea into our sims world literally my number one go to. So I'm having a little trouble with getting the cake or balloons option to appear on the arch. After I buy it the only option I see is to view it. I have already tried removing all other mods to ensure there was no conflict. I also followed the download instructions you posted. It only shows gender reveal, at first it was telling you step by step of what to do. But now it just show gender reveal. I played the V1.41 and it gave step by step. Then I sownloaded the updated version following your directions and the step by step is not showing up.

Everything works for me except I don't have the option of Gather on the balloon arch, and I still cannot get the balloons to appear in any inventory, sim or household. I even redownloaded, delete old files and cache files, load and save game, then put updated files in my mods folder. I just wanted to let you know i tested it out! I had twins so maybe it was just an issue with that, but when I hit the cake option I got two cakes and one was pink one was blue. No balloons would come into the inventory though
