Bonding over their fatness and love of food, the girls grew up and blew up together, with Cheryl and Claire finding their way to marriage and children by their mid-20's. All while Tammy, the biggest of the three, searched for Mr. Right. When Tammy finally meets a guy named Ralph, she is swept up into a lavish life of excess, although the origins of Ralph's wealth aren't exactly clear. She's also getting fatter. A lot fatter. As Cheryl and Claire help prepare Tammy for her and Ralph's wedding they begin to wonder if their best friend will be fit to make the long waddle down the aisle.
