I'm really getting sick of prefacing all my posts with fuckin' pity party woe is me bullshit. I feel like a broken record. But right now things are really tough. I'm not really prone to depression, but when I do get it, it's this time of year. And life's just been burying me in bad news and tough breaks on top of it. I'm gonna make it and I'm gonna be OK. I've been going through shit my entire life. I have people I can depend on and they need me to be strong too.

I say all that to say this. You're gonna get your content this month, and it's gonna be up to par. But there's been nights where I can't focus on anything and I lose all interest in things that bring me joy. Even drugs and booze, which is very out of character for me. I'd rather take an extra day or two and give you guys stuff that's up to my standards than try and force something out just to make a deadline.

I got a week off in January. By then, I will have put a lot of this bullshit to bed and life will be a lot easier. I love you guys, and thanks for baring with me.

12/20: I'm 90% sure that this will be chapter one of my next slow burn series called "Dusk." Ironing out details. As AW winds down I feel like the wisest move is to have a new slow burn starting so I can keep people interested.
