Effective January 1st, I am going to pause the billing cycle of this page.
What does this mean?
Patreon allows creators to pause the monthly billing cycle for a month, meaning that you will not be charged on January 1st the way you typically would. You will not be charged for January at all. Because you will not be receiving content from me in January.
What the fuck, why?
Mental health issues. If you know me and my, ahem, "brand", you can probably guess which kind.
Will we still be getting the new Army Wives on Monday?
Yes.
Will you be back in February?
100%. I will be right back at it in February. I will post a release schedule in late January letting you guys know what you can expect from me then, and to remind you of the resumption of the billing cycle on February 1st.
Is your content still gonna be here?
If you do not cancel your subscription, yes. But I believe that if you do cancel you will have to re-pay to get access to my backlog. Also, Patreon allows me to still post content even if I have paused the billing cycle. So while I will not promise anything, I don't see myself staying away from writing for the whole month. And if I release anything, it'll be on the house. I'll need something to occupy my mind. But I need time right now to not have to do anything. My brain is gonna be mush for a while cuz I've been at this a long time. I will be back though. I'm gonna be fine. It ain't my first rodeo.
So just to be clear: YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED FOR JANUARY. IF YOU ARE COOL WITH JUST CHILLING OUT FOR A MONTH WHILE I GET MYSELF TOGETHER, AND THEN HAVING THINGS RESUME AS NORMAL IN FEBRUARY, YOU HAVE NOTHING TO CHANGE OR UPDATE ON YOUR END. IF YOU DO WISH TO CANCEL, I GET IT, THAT'S COOL.
I'm more than happy to answer any questions you guys have, and I'm sorry.

Your self awareness and your ability to know how to manage yourself given everything…I need to learn from you and do more of that. Thanks for role modeling good behaviors, I guess.
