There will be an epilogue after this. But this is the last official chapter.

It's been a Hell of a ride. This story really failed to catch on over on DeviantArt but meh. I don't really give a shit. It's funny how my perception of my stories can differ so greatly from my audience's. People fucked with Dusk way more than they did this one, which is nuts to me. But that's how art works. Sometimes you KNOW you have a heater on your hands, other times you THINK you have a heater on your hands, and other times you slap some horseshit together cuz you're burnt out and it ends up doing crazy numbers.

The important thing is I tried something new and I learned new stuff and I had so much God damn fun with it. It never got boring. I was always psyched when it came time to write a new chapter of Hard Time.

The idea came to me when I was watching Red Dragon. And I thought about how much less of a cerebral film it was compared to SIlence of the Lambs. It was like they took SOTL and made it into an average popcorn movie. And I wanted to apply that approach to one of my stories. Have some fun. Some cartoony kinda characters. And a happy ending for once. Imagine that. STC growing up and not being such a wet blanket, pardon my French.
