I recently put put all the content on this page on Deviantart as well. It's structured the exact same way. $5 gets you early access and a paywall story. $2 for just the paywall stories.
A while back Apple rolled out a new rule that any purchases made in Patreon were subject to its 30% app store fee. As far as I know this is still the case. That means if you buy a membership on an iPhone you're gonna be paying 30% more for my stuff. I don't want any of you to get fucked over.
I would strongly, strongly, urge you to buy a membership on a computer instead of an iPhone. I don't know if mobile sites can circumvent the fees as I've never had an iPhone.
The Deviantart subscription model works exactly the same as it does here. You pay and it renews every 30 days unless you cancel.
