I think I can help with the reflection. if you have a way of securing the piece of glass vertically in front of the camera...but angled back you might be able to eliminate most or all of it. With the top of the glass sitting above the camera shot, angle it forward and the bottom of the glass, angled back. I worked in TV for decades, all the monitors and glass elements on a set are angled slightly downward to prevent them catching the studio lights. Same thing will work here. I'm trying to think of an easy and inexpensive way of doing it, any photographer you know could be helpful if they understand what I'm describing. Off the top of my head...a small telescopic tripod stand that extends around 18 inches in height with a couple of clamps holding the glass in place might work. Would also visually give more an illusion of the glass being the camera lens itself. Anyway, sorry if it's an unsolicited suggestion. I love these videos because they help me sleep...but I have to confess I'm always worried you'll drop the glass.

I'm glad the picture frame glass worked out well for you besides some of the glare and hopefully saved your back from a bit of the pain crouching in the shower. Though that more visible spitty shower door glass licking video was amazing too. Thank you for also doing a little bit further back glass licking here. For the 3Dio video you want to do, it's been a while since there's been an ear licking video and that's something that Youtube has really cracked down on, so it would be more exclusive to your Patreon if you can find the cable. Type A personality with a misplaced item is hell on earth. I would know lol. If you do that video at some point I would love if you could add some side profile licking during the video as well, idk if you've done that angle yet so it could mix things up. Cool to hear about your picture idea. If they were captured half as well as you looked in the video snippet they will turn out great for your modeling portfolio.
