Your opinion!

Hi! I'd like to know your opinion about early access, I'd be delighted to read them!

Alright, so here is my “report” I already teased in the community chat: I have been about eight and a half hours into the game when I unfortunately encountered a very serious bug (and by serious I mean: game-breaking bug!). I actually encountered it twice and both times during a segment where manual saves are disabled, making the impact even worse as I had to reload an earlier save – and the second time it appeared, I lost almost two hours of gameplay entirely due to said bug. Anyway, here is what happened exactly (ATTENTION! For those who have not reached the theme-based tournament events yet, the following parts contain spoilers!) The first time the bug occured was during the swimming hall event of the tournament where at one point when activating the “suck Selena's belly in” skill to cross the bridges, afterwards her character model was able to walk through walls and other obstacles all across the map while also unable to interact with any objects whatsoever – in other words: Selena freely walked / floated all over the map, but couldn't trigger anything, as if all the objects (and potential enemies too) were just decorative background while gameplay-wise the map was completely empty (including walls). In that regard I had to reload my save point from before the event began (I luckily made a manual save just before the start), so I only lost about 10 minutes of gameplay and I hoped this was a one-off bug. The swimming hall event then went on without the same bug and I completed it and so I thought: Alright, I let that one slip. Three days ago however, I was at the farm event, which is WAAAY larger and more twisted than the swimming hall event and I spent easily over an hour fighting through the maze, defeating enemies and looking for the cream pots and liposuction stations to alter Selena's belly size. Relatively close to the end of the maze (the part where the grass patch shaped like an arrow leads to a very narrow maze segment) I was looking for a way to reduce her belly size again and had trouble finding a station. At some point (I can't quite tell what triggered it exactly) the VERY SAME bug from the swimming hall occured again – meaning, Selena could walk all across the map as if it was empty, essentially floating across the maze borders, but unable to interact with enemies, objects (like treasure chests, vending machines or cream pots / liposuction stations). I tested if I could at least “float” to the boss fight, which actually worked and so I fought the boss (despite unable to restock on lotions due to the bug) and eventually won. Despite it being rather “underwhelming” to beat the maze with the “help” of a bug, I was too frustrated to start the maze all over again after spending close to two hours in it (before the bug occured I also died once “regularly”, so that one is on me :P ). After the boss figtht I let the cutscene play and hoped that once the new day starts, the bug would be gone. Unfortunalety it wasn't! As Selena walked out of her home into the city, she was still able to float all across the town while unable to interact with anything, so by then I knew the issue was a permanent game-breaking bug! :( Now aside from the issue that this bug exists in the first place, there is one major trouble that goes alongside it as it happened during these very theme-based events: These are the only segments in the game where you cannot manually save inbetween! Meaning: If I was able to save while in the farm maze, I could have just reloaded a savestate from a few minutes ago and would be relatively fine (note: reloading an earlier save undoes the bug, so the game itself is not permanently affected, only the savestate once it occurs). With this huge segment not containing ANY option whatsoever to save inbetween, an hour and a half or even two hours of gameplay were literally for nothing and that sadly made me ragequit the game harder than any Soulsborne game ever did (and I played and raged through all of those :D ). And yes: I DID make a manual savepoint right before the start of the farm maze event, so the lost gameplay was entirely consistent of the event itself. Of course, I do get why you didn't include manual saves during these challenges, because that's what they should be: challenging! When a LITERAL game-breaking bug however occurs right before the end, then it DOES become an issue, and a huge one at that! Maybe alongside fixing the bug itself, you could either consider allowing manual saves during these events (I mean: In the dream sequences which are also very combat-heavy, manual saves are already allowed, but interestingly NOT in the tournament events...) or alternatively, you could place fixed “checkpoints” (and by checkpoints I mean savepoints) at certain spots in the maze so you don't have to start ALL OVER AGAIN if you die or – far worse – if the aforementioned game-breaking bug suddenly occurs like it did for me. It really is a shame that I can't play on right now because I absolutely adore this game so far, but risking to spend another two hours in the frustrating farm maze only for the bug to appear once again and all the work and struggle is for nothing... that's something I just can't do. :( It would be great if you could check what causes this major issue and let me (and everybody else of course) know when it got fixed. I also don't know if other players have encountered the same bug or if it is just me (I did install the latest version from February 12th and if this very bug was actually one of the fixes back then... maybe something went wrong on my end when reinstalling the game). If it is a new issue that hasn't been addressed before though, I would be very grateful if you could check and eventually fix it so I can continue playing this amazing game. :) Other than that, I only have the highest praises for this game and please take your time checking the issue. Thank you in advance and please keep making great content as you always did! :)

All right, I'll keep that in mind!

Selena, Belly of Steel

The cutscenes take too long, I think we are spending so much time looking at black screen

I will write it here when I have arrived at the end of the stuff so far.
