✧ The making of - 'Kittenish'

We've uploaded the final .psd file for this piece, so that you can check out how our color-correction looks like. It's basically flattened layers mixing and matching, thought, nothing too fancy.

With this piece we started with a 3D scene, so that the character, Farex, a lovely cheetah girl, would fit within a scene naturally. We used a pre-made location we've purchased a while back. If you are interested in a source link for it - please let me know, and I can whip it our for you.)

The outfit for this scene was fully  Farex's idea, and we loved the dress so much. we decided to compliment it with a playful pose and some splashes of sparkling water <3

May I know which program you use to create 3D backgrounds? This is great!

That's typical color-correction, and we use many usual methods. My favorites are: -channel mixer -shadow/highlights -color efex pro

I notice that your pieces become very vibrant and colorful in the last step of the process once you make the final render. Out of curiosity, what kinds of methods do you use to make the piece pop in the finishing touches? Do you prefer using adjustment layers, or do you pick brighter colors to manually paint places?
