There'll be no author choice at the end of the month to make up for it, and Crimson will come back to the poll before Scumbag as it should based on how the vote actually went.
Also, this will be the last pure plot chapter of this story for a bit. The smut comes back next time. It was going to have a Winter scene but... With what happens in this chapter, it would've been out of place.
