And then I decided to go into a bit of Neo's perspective on events since there's a scene from her POV. And then I had to do research to try to get her perspective right. And then that scene ballooned to become about two fifths of the chapter and add another two thousand words.
What I'm saying is, late for a positive reason this time!
... Well, also poor planning. But also the positive thing!
