I have officially missed a deadline by an entire week. As such, I said exactly what I would do if that happened and I am going to abide by my word.
You will not be charged when the month ticks over this time.
It's frustrating. Because I'm actually pretty proud of this chapter now that it's done. But I know if I don't abide by the rules I've set for myself, I'll never get anything done.
That said, this has made it spectacularly obvious that I need to take a real break sooner rather than later. So don't be surprised if my annual two week break over the holidays becomes three.
I'm also not doing an author's choice this time. Instead I'll be doing a poll for the stories that generally don't win the poll (so basically not the big three stories).
