Story Poll (and that e-mail you probably got)

Okay. So first let's address that e-mail. Yes, I paused payments for this month. The reason for that is because I set myself boundaries for what happens if I fail to produce content I've promised in a stipulated timeframe. I've put reasonable limitations into the schedule to not overstress myself. I take seasonal breaks. I do what I can to not push myself too far. So, my logic is if I do that and still can't deliver? Then that's on me. I even gave myself extra leeway. Things happen sometimes and a chapter might be late, but if it's within one week of the due date, that's still fine. Problem is, I've regularly ended up abusing that window. This week's chapter is still not done (and won't be for days yet).

And last week's chapter was one week and four hours overdue. The four hours might seem like nothing, but it's not 4 hours. It's over a week. It's not supposed to be that late in the first place. I've let myself slip further and further behind and now here we are. Can't make excuses for that anymore and so, no payment this month. You guys do support me and I don't want to be the type of person who takes that for granted, so thank you for supporting me and I'll try to do better come the new year.

This week is supposed to be author's choice but I'm doing a poll instead for the stories that usually don't get a look in elsewise.
