Practicing with limited color palettes

I've been studying and learning about how light and color work for months now. As a result, I've improved my shading technique. However, one thing kept lingering in my mind – learning more about color. Through extensive research, I came across terms like CMYK and the differences between RGB, as well as how colors in real life aren't usually as vibrant as they appear on screens. This realization, combined with observations like the merchandise I've created, which generally features more muted colors, prompted me to delve deeper.
I decided to learn how to utilize various types of color palettes, and also to restrict myself from using arbitrary or disconnected colors in my illustrations. This choice followed a period of intensive research. For now, I'll be working on a series of drawings with limited, less saturated colors. I genuinely appreciate their aesthetic, though I'll be reserving this approach for experimental drawings. Rewards and commissions will continue as usual.
