What A Weird Little Bug

Misery was shrunk. She wasn't sure how it happened but all she knew was somehow she'd ended up in her mother's apartment. Loretta was no stranger to stomping pests, and Misery knew that. Still, she couldn't just wait around and hope someone else came along. She had to be able to get her own mother's attention.

Meanwhile Loretta was busy getting ready to go out on a date. She was wearing a nice short dress, had her nails painted, and was ready go out the door. That was until she saw something on the floor.

"Oh no. It's one of those people Misery has been shrinking," with that she casually placed her bare foot upon her daughter's shrunken body.

Wide eyed and in complete panic, Misery waited. Was this it? Would she really become like so many people she'd stepped on and get squashed by her own mother? But Loretta was looking down curiously. She knew Mis usually tormented them instead of just stamping them outright.

"Well little bug, I wouldn't want you to miss out on any of the fun my daughter would have given you. Maybe I'll slip you into my pumps and bring you along tonight. Yup, that's where you're going," Loretta casually commented. Not giving Misery much time to think. A moment later she could feel her mother's toes scrunching eagerly. She was being picked up and slid into her mother's high heel.

This was not what Misery had imagined happening. Usually Loretta was so cruel. Was she playing around with the tiny people she'd discovered now?
