Looks like Misery found a tiny next to Akiko's house. It sure looks a LOT like Chad, but it can't be him. He'd be at home, safe in his terrarium. Y'know, besides the fact that Akiko snuck him out and planted him here. No one is going to get Misery's affections over her. Especially not some annoying shrunken guy!
