[Poll] What One-Shot Should I Prep Next?
Added 2024-04-07 16:08:50 +0000 UTC
Happy Spring to all those in the Northern Hemisphere! I can't believe how far we've come in such a short period of time! All of you have been helping to take Advent's Amazing Advice higher than I could ever have imagined! With this most recent milestone it's time for our first poll of the year, so let's see which One-Shot you'd like me to prep next!
The One-shots:

This is a level 5-7 Asian pirate-themed One-Shot. Buried decades ago, the great treasure of the notorious Captain Jadescale is waiting at the Mistcliff. Though the exact location of the treasure is unknown, itβs said that the owner of the Shore of Dreams has clues about the location, although nothing is ever that straightforward when it comes to treasure. Can your players unearth the secrets of the treasure of Captain Jadescale or will they be undone by its mystery?
An ancient evil lurks in the shadows of Womford. While everybody is getting ready for the annual pie contest, a vile creature is carefully preparing its next move. Itβs only a matter of time before it wrests control of the gluttonous swine of Womford. Will your players be able to stop it before it's too late? This One-Shot is designed for level 4 characters!
You've experienced The Tavern at Death's Door and The Drunken Treasure, well how about The Wizards Watering Hole from The Seekers Guide to Twisted Taverns! This Tavern is for Mid-Level players, it can appear out of nowhere, and travel across the planes!
Standing three stories tall and surrounded by dancing lights and illusory spectacles, The Wizardβs Watering Hole beckons any and all outsiders to visit. This widely renowned tavern has established a reputation for excitement and arcane strangeness. The tavern seemingly runs itself, conjuring all its goods and services from powerful and permanent magics.
The Lair of Auntie Ethel is a level 3 One-Shot. A series of disappearances from nearby beaches has led to a dark panic descending on a small village. Whatβs taking the people? Are they safe? Only adventurers can help.
This level 3/4 One-Shot is by M.T. Black, you might recognize him as the creator behind Into Ivy Mansion!
Travelers are going missing on the Long Road, on the 100-mile stretch between Triboar and Longsaddle. Our heroes investigate and discover a haunted mansion with a dark history and a gruesome secret. Their quest brings them to the very gates of hell itself, where an infernal abomination presents them with their greatest challenge yet...

I want to hear directly from you! Name all the One-Shots you think would be awesome to run or that you have run and would like others to experience too.
Leave a comment below with the name of a One-Shot and people can like your post, if your post receives more likes than any other, I'll work on prepping that one! Even if it doesn't work out, I'll add it to my list of One-Shots to check out and possibly work on in the future!
Every time I look back It never ceases to amaze me how far we've come. Advent's Amazing Advice wouldn't be what it is today if it wasn't for all your support, thank you all so much! I can't wait for you to see what else I have planned! Till our next Poll!
Cheers,
Advent

Very interesting, I know for the original Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth, the map is absolutely massive, but it looks like this one only has the first half so that's far more doable haha I'll have to keep it on my radar!

2024-04-07 17:28:19 +0000 UTCActually, the only higher level One-Shot that's seasonal is the Holiday 2023 one, the rest can be run whenever! The Easter One and it's prequel are both lower level ones! (lvl 5)

2024-04-07 17:26:12 +0000 UTCYeah, I listed through them and have a few noted when I can't get the whole group together or for occasions (afaik many of the higher level ones were "seasonal" and except for the Easter one it's kinda out of season to bring it up π , but they'll be ready when their time comes)

2024-04-07 16:59:59 +0000 UTCNot a bad idea, I'll have to keep an eye out for those! The good news is that since you're a yearly member you have access to 6 exclusive one shots on Discord, I have a level 9, 2 x level 10, a level 11, and a level 14 all prepped ready to go! I also prepped: A Holiday One-Shot (2023) (Lvl 9) Scarab of Death (Lvl 10) Don't Say Vecna (Lvl 20) To the End of Time (Lvl 20)

2024-04-07 16:21:57 +0000 UTCI would really enjoy something higher level (8th to 18th) campaigns usually take a long time to get to that stage, so it's nice for oneshots to give the ability to test different higher level character builds. I was looking into running The Wyrms Lie from Eventyr games, but can't vouch yet for how good it is as I've only tried their supplemental materials, not many adventures (but got them from Kickstarter already which is why I was looking into running them)
