I'd been wanting to tell this story for at least 3-4 years. Due to space constraints, I couldn't include it in its entirety in my comic strip La Rencontre (the subject will be dealt with in a very brief way). So I thought I'd tell it in more detail in Menu du Jour :)
Note: I've had a crazy week. After 4 months of work, I was finally able to deliver the final illustrations for a lunchtime publishing project. My mandate was to illustrate 80 images for booklets. I can't wait to show them to you! (Probably more towards the end of the summer). After all that work, I took advantage of my pm to finalize the last page of this first part of the story.
Next week promises to be just as busy. I've got to finish an illustrated novel in color (I've only got 2 pictures left) and finish another novel (this one in black and white) for the week after that. That's a lot of work in a short space of time. After that, things will calm down.
