Changes to the Polls

Hello friends,

TL;DR: Patreon doesn't allow the addition of options to already existing polls, 2 new polls are available with a new option, option #3 is my favorite, I'll add both polls to determine the results.

Discussions held on this thread over the last week have helped me get a more precise idea of what I wanted the patron rewards to be about:

• Customization the scenes is the most time-consuming and tedious part of modding and what I need motivation for. 
• This Patron page is about supporting both the Present (updates) and the Future (new projects.

 I want the rewards to reflect that. 

Making the polls concerning the patron rewards for the GGGB JDMOD wasn't a well-thought decision: It was based on the assumption I would be able to add options if needed but they can't be modified therefore I'm left with no ther solution than creating 2 more precise polls:

Public 

Patrons 

The results of the 2 existing ones are heavily in favor of changing the rewards.

New options:

#1 - Keep the rewards as they are:

• Future: Early access to Preview, Alpha and Final versions with the Unlock Feature. 
• Present:  Early access to Final version with the Unlock Feature (as originally planned). 
• Public: Access to the previous Final version.

#2 - Make all the GGGB content public but keep the Unlock feature Patron Only: 

• Future: Early access (2 days) to Preview, Alpha and Final versions with the Unlock Feature.
• Present: Access to Preview and Alpha versions with the Unlock Feature, early access (2 days) to Final version with the Unlock Feature. 
• Public:  Access to Preview, Alpha and Final versions. 

#3 - Make the Unlock feature public but give Early Access to the patrons:  

• Future: Early access (2 days) to Preview, Alpha and Final versions with the Unlock Feature.
• Present: Access to Preview and Alpha versions with the Unlock Feature, early access (2 days) to Final version with the Unlock Feature. 
• Public:  Access to Final version with the Unlock Feature.

Despite how I feel about the Unlock feature, option #3 is my favorite since it's the most reflective of the time spent customizing the scene for the PREVIEW, ALPHA and FINAL releases.

Changes to how the polls will be interpreted:

Instead of the public poll being the decider if the patron poll is tied, I'll add the result of the 2 polls: This way, patrons will get 2 votes, as long as they vote in both polls, and votes from non-supporters will matter.

The polls will end on January the 5th and the changes to the patron rewards will come into effect for version 0.23 FINAL.

PS: I changed the wording from "delayed access" to the public to "early access" to patrons. Although it doesn't change anything in practice, it's more in line with how things are: rewards for your support, not a punishment for the public.
