change for one tier about chibi
Added 2025-08-29 04:05:54 +0000 UTCHello everyone, I'm posting this to give advance notice about upcoming changes to the rewards system. These changes will take effect next month, and I'm also giving you time to respond if you disagree with the changes before then. This concerns the Chibi Rewards.
Originally, for the $1 tier, we opened a request form called “Chibi Time” every two months. It was something I did purely out of a desire for us all to have fun together, enjoy ourselves, and share happy moments. I strongly value a community where everyone participates and no one feels left out.
Unfortunately, I've come to realize that taking care of myself is also crucial. In doing so, I've noticed that the yield from the Chibi commissions I'm already receiving is extremely unbalanced. While I'm truly grateful for all the support, I also believe that if it doesn't consider the value and labor intensity I've set, it ultimately harms myself.
To put it simply, handling all those chibi commissions for just $2 became increasingly difficult. Especially since people requested complex characters, often with individual colors for each part, I found myself getting exhausted and spending entire days finishing them—a pattern that repeated itself.
So going forward, I plan to leave $1 as a tip and start all rewards at $5 and above. I tried to endure it for a long time, but I'm really worn out now. Thank you.
