First of all, he is in the military now for the next 18 months, but secondly, he has been working on some music, (he just dropped Closer Than This last week-a song he wrote for the fans), and there may be new other new things "dropped" during his enlistment, as he/they (other BTS members) prepared a lot for the time they will be away. He has been writing his own songs (or did for his mini album, FACE), so that too is a longer process, as this is new to most of them. I do know Ryan Tedder (of One Republic and huge producer, as I am sure you know, lol) said he wrote a song for him, so that may be coming.
