While my love for anime started with the Pokémon series it was eventually Digimon which aroused my love for monster designs and monster battles in general.
Also, I had a crush on certain heroines from the first series... :p
This illustration was an experiment for trying out new comic-like textures and brushes which eventually resulted in an interesting observation. It seems like the smaller my resolution was the sharper the textures look like after using the hard edge tools. I don't know where this knew knowledge will lead me, but I already planned some new drawing tests.
