2025-01-01 05:01:40 +0000 UTCI think if you want to react to some of the stronger Ateez group performances, given that Killing Voice was a lot of titles and only short sections, I’d recommend the work they’ve done with Its Live, particularly Thank U, Promise, and Fever (one of the songs you enjoyed from Killing Voice). I do agree that Ateez needs a broader catalogue to highlight their vocal talent, but thankfully many of their b sides do appeal, and when they get the chance to perform them it’s a treat. It’s Live are older videos but really shine in my opinion for full group vocals. I also selfishly will throw in Yunho’s special clip linked below as he is my favorite and I really enjoy his vocals as a casual listener, but don’t have a lot of insight from a vocal coach perspective ☺️ but I truly do think you’d enjoy It’s Live. 2024-09-06 08:38:59 +0000 UTCAlso the immortal songs everyone keeps mentioning….even tho Jongho hits some notes, it’s really strained at the end but impressive considering how stressed and overworked they were. But that last note sounded like it hurt. The stage is super cool tho.

2024-09-05 16:06:04 +0000 UTCAnd San had to rebuild his voice from scratch. He was singing incorrectly, and as his voice matured, he began to bleed as he sang. He had to see a vocal coach and really really start over. Sometimes you really see Jongho smile and give him a thumbs up on stage when he hits a really open healthy belt. Jongho has really worked on not having tension on the top end when he sings with “e” vowels. It’s fun for rock anthem songs, but also he loves ballads and it always bothered him. So he got additional training in LA and you can really see the difference these days.

I really love the feel and voice of Xdinary Heroes, now they might not be everyones cup of tea but I really love Jungsu's and Jooyeon's voices in their songs. I would really love to see more people react to their songs Good Enough and their cover of Drown by Bring Me The Horizon. Now they are a rock/kpop band not a group so they use all of these instruments as well as their voices. I just feel like someone should give this underrated group a shot.
